LET'S Start (with FAQS)
1- Better Understanding:
We will be happy to talk to you to have a better understanding of your needs and provide you with any further explanations. If price is an issue, we can come up with some cost reductions proposals.
2- Your Requirements:
Send us your tech packs or your models samples, with details of quantities, fabric composition, Pantone ref colors, your size specs, labels, Hangtags, packings and other accessories. If decorations are required, details of prints, foils, embroidery, sequins, studs and diamanté, should be provided.
3- Competitive Landed costs:
We will get you the best quote in USD, bearing in mind that the freight costs clearing and other charges will impact on the landed cost of the garments. At your request we will quote on an Ex-Works, FOB, C&F, CIF or even DDU, ( Delivery, Duty Unpaid. )
Please note that no duty on our garment is payable in Europe, USA and Africa since we will provide you with the Duty-Free EUR1, AGOA, COMESA or SADC Certificate.
With DDU, you will know the exact landed cost for each item in your order, since shipping, clearing, and delivery to your warehouse or stores, are already included in the DDU prices. But any governmental VAT or GST or State taxes will be on your account.
4 - Approval of samples:
Based on your size specs, we will make the pattern of your garment and do the fittings of the samples on our dummies before sending them to you for your comments and approval.
5 - Short Lead Times
Tamak usually delivers bespoke orders between 4 to 8 weeks after approval of final samples.
For Europe, the shipping delivery by sea is about 5 weeks,
For South Africa the shipping delivery by sea will take about a week to Durban.
The total airfreight delivery time is only a couple of days for Europe or Africa.
6- Quality Control:
You are welcome to have your own quality controllers, eg Intertek or SGS. But our regular customers trust us to do the quality control on their behalf and they have never regretted it.
We always do a total quality control on all the garments, during and after production to ensure that you receive your garments as you would expect.
7- Usual Payment Terms, unless otherwise agreed:
30% to 50% down payment and the difference before shipment. Irrevocable letter of credit at sight also accepted
8- Minimum Ordered Quantity: ( MOQ )
The minimum fabric dye lot is usually 300 kilos, which is equivalent to 1300 adult T-shirts of 160 gm2 in 2 or even 3 different models. For the initial trial order, we would be prepared to reduce our MOQ, to develop a long term business relationship with well established organizations.
